In Poppy Playtime Chapter 4, after navigating through No Man’s Land, players find themselves in a series of challenging areas prior to entering the Doctor’s lair. Among these obstacles is a locked chamber filled with freezing gas emanating from the pipes. To progress, players must first cease the flow of gas obstructing the exit, followed by locating a keycard to activate the console that unlocks the door. Below, you will find a step-by-step guide to accomplish both tasks efficiently.
Stopping the Flow of Freezing Gas
Be cautious to avoid exposure to the freezing gas, as it inflicts damage and severely impairs movement speed. Extended contact can be lethal. Upon entering the freezing chamber, your first objective is to disable the gas from the pipes. Look down from the platform to find the initial pipe releasing gas near the door. There is a red handle adjacent to the pipe; interact with it using the Grabpack to block the source of the gas.
Next, utilize the jump pad located below to ascend to the catwalk on the opposite side. Proceed towards the right side of the pathway until you encounter a searchlight. Here, you will identify a yellow lever linked to another pipe. Employ the Grabpack to pull this lever, effectively halting the flow of freezing gas near the entrance of the tent.
Finding the Keycard for the Console
With the freezing gas successfully stopped, drop down into the room and enter the tent. Inside, you will discover a blue keycard situated on a desk. Pick up the keycard and make your way to the console positioned at the front of the room to insert it.
Ensure the electrical router within the room is functioning properly, allowing power to flow to the console. Without power, the keycard will be ineffective. Once the keycard is placed into the console, power will be redirected to the door shutter panel, triggering it to open and granting players access to continue their adventure in Poppy Playtime Chapter 4.
