However, recent discussions have hinted at the introduction of a new type of Pack Hourglass, potentially limiting current Pack Hourglasses exclusively to the Genetic Apex and Mythical Island packs.

Screen Rant sought clarification from The Pokémon Company International regarding these rumors and received the following statement from a representative: “Pack Hourglasses in Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket can be used for future expansions released in the app and will not be limited to Genetic Apex and Mythical Island. Each Pack Hourglass will allow players to reduce the time to open booster packs by one hour, irrespective of the expansion, for the foreseeable future.”
