Event Timing & Duration

The Pokemon GO Carnival of Flamigo will kick off on Tuesday, February 3, at 10 AM and continue until Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 8 PM local time. Players will have plenty of opportunities to catch this exciting newcomer from Paldea, along with a host of colorful wild encounters featuring:

Soldered
Buneary
Pikipek
Spritzee
Flamigo (debut)

Among these Pokémon, all but Flamigo may appear in their Shiny forms, and the likelihood of encountering Shiny variants will be enhanced during this event. Trainers, keep your eyes peeled!

Bonuses & Rewards

Participants in the event can look forward to a range of benefits designed to elevate their gameplay experience. The exciting bonuses available during the carnival include:

Twice the duration for Incense use
Double the Daily Adventure Incense duration
A bonus of 500 Stardust for each Flamigo caught
Increased chances of encountering Shiny Lotad, Shiny Spritzee, and Shiny Pikipek

Timed Research, Field Tasks & Collection Challenge

Throughout the Pokemon GO Carnival of Flamigo, players will encounter a variety of Field Tasks and Collection Challenges involving Pokémon such as Lotad, Spritzee, Pikipek, and Buneary. For now, details regarding specific tasks are limited, but it is anticipated that rewards will include Stardust, XP, and potentially encounters with event-themed Pokémon.

Field Tasks may feature familiar challenges, such as catching a specific number of Pokémon or spinning PokéStops, with the promise of encounters with event-themed Pokémon in return. These encounters may even yield shiny variants, adding an extra layer of thrill during the event.

Important Reminder: Players have the flexibility to re-roll undesirable Field Tasks by navigating to the Field Research & Task tab in the menu, allowing for easier challenges.
