Rapper Plies, whose real name is Algernod Lanier Washington, has taken legal action against a group of four well-known artists, including Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, Soulja Boy, and GloRilla. He claims these artists infringed on his copyright by allegedly using elements from his hit single Me & My Goons in their songs.

According to the allegations, Soulja Boy’s Pretty Boy Swag reportedly sampled the beats from Plies’ Me & My Goons. Additionally, GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion are claimed to have utilized the same beats in their collaborative track, Wanna Be, which also featured a remix by Cardi B.

Notably, Soulja Boy’s and GloRilla’s releases have achieved significant chart success, while Plies’ original track was included on his album Da REAList.
