Overview
- Hardcore mode enthusiasts express dissatisfaction with its limited presence in the Season 2 Reloaded playlists.
- Treyarch may be reluctant to fragment the player community by introducing more Hardcore options.
The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 community is vocalizing its discontent regarding the apparent lack of Hardcore playlists in Season 2 Reloaded. Hardcore mode is favored for its significantly reduced time-to-kill, appealing to many players. However, the absence of this mode in the latest updates has left some fans feeling marginalized.
Since the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 in October, players have actively communicated their grievances to Treyarch. For instance, there was notable backlash against the recent TMNT event due to its pricing anomalies. Although Treyarch doesn’t always respond immediately to every feedback, the studio has generally made commendable efforts to address player concerns through timely updates.
In a recent Reddit discussion, user Pummpy1 highlighted that the latest playlist update for Season 2 Reloaded has largely neglected Hardcore players. They emphasized that four out of the new playlists—namely, Small Map Moshpit, TMNT Moshpit, Grind Ooze 24/7, and Bullet 24/7—are exclusively Core modes. Moreover, Pummpy1 pointed out the absence of four consistent game modes in the Hardcore section, labeling it as “ridiculous how much content you lose playing only Hardcore.”
Core-Exclusive Playlists in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 Reloaded
- Small Map Moshpit
- TMNT Moshpit
- Grind Ooze 24/7
- Bullet 24/7
- Gunfight
- Overdrive
- Control
- Headquarters
Many users in the Reddit thread concurred that Treyarch should take steps to accommodate the Hardcore player base during Season 2 Reloaded. Nevertheless, there were discussions around the potential downsides of fragmenting the player community with additional Hardcore playlists. Currently, Hardcore features playlists such as Stakeout and Nuketown 24/7, which might be considered sufficient by the developers. Whether this assessment holds validity remains a topic for debate.

As Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 progresses through its seasonal content rollout, players can expect a continual flow of updates designed to keep engagement high throughout the year. The anticipation for Season 3 continues, even as players navigate the experiences that Season 2 Reloaded has to offer.
