Play Store to provide easy access to your installed mobile games
Upcoming Features in the Google Play Store
The Google Play Store is gearing up to unveil an array of exciting new features aimed at enhancing user experience. Recent developments indicate that users will soon enjoy a more organized app browsing experience, as the Play Store plans to roll out dedicated sections for tablet and car applications. Additionally, a new Download Manager is on the horizon, designed to keep track of ongoing downloads and highlight recently installed apps that users have yet to explore.
New “Continue Playing”Feature for Gamers
A particularly noteworthy addition is the upcoming “Continue Playing”feature, which is currently under development. This update targets Android users who often juggle multiple games on their devices, making it easier to keep track of their gaming activities.
While the “Continue Playing”feature is still not publicly available, keen observers at Android Authority managed to capture a preview. According to their findings, this feature showcases a new section labeled “Continue Playing”within the Games tab of the Play Store.
How “Continue Playing”Works
This innovative section will list all games currently installed on your device, each accompanied by a Play button for quick access. By tapping the button, users can launch their games directly from the Play Store. If a game has been inactive for a while, it will display the installation date; otherwise, it will reveal the last time the player engaged with it.
Availability and Future Updates
Currently, this feature is not accessible to all users. It has been spotted in version 43.4.23-31 of the Play Store app, suggesting readiness for rollout with future updates. However, it is essential to note that features identified through APK teardown may be experimental and could change before a final release.
Stay tuned for further updates as the Google Play Store continues to evolve and enhance user accessibility across its platform.
