Pink Addresses Diddy Rumors and Explains Her Deleted Twitter Account: “I’m Not Associated with Any of the People Mentioned”

P!nk, born Alecia Beth Moore, has garnered significant attention after she deleted all posts from her official X account (formerly Twitter) on September 22, 2024. This development follows Diddy’s arrest on September 16, facing serious allegations including s*x trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution.

P!nk was among those who reacted to Diddy’s arrest, alongside Usher, who also purged his tweets. Interestingly, her actions led to public speculation suggesting a potential association with Diddy.

Prior to his arrest, Diddy was reportedly under investigation for a considerable time regarding allegations of s*xual assault and s*x trafficking. According to a grand jury indictment obtained by Page Six, the rapper allegedly organized illicit s*x events referred to as Freak-Offs.

On September 26, 2024, P!nk addressed rumors surrounding her account deletion via an Instagram post, sharing a screenshot of a previous post from X made in February. The post stated:

“This account will self destruct in two minutes. Do it!!!!!!”

Alecia clarified below the post:

“I don’t know why I became a headline this week, but I wiped my Twitter account on February 6!!! There is no truth to the rumors spread this week, and while I’ve met people in passing, I’m not associated with any of the people mentioned.”

The comments section for this particular post has been disabled for reasons unknown. Meanwhile, her response has garnered over 90,000 reactions.

P!nk’s Decision to Leave X Earlier This Year

The Doylestown Township native has been quite occupied with her ongoing tour, Summer Carnival, which commenced in June of last year. While preparing for her performances in Australia in February 2024, she shared two messages on X indicating her decision to quit the platform.

These posts were later deleted, and one stated:

“Have you ever been at a party with a bunch of salty old people that never realized their dreams? Where the liquor ran dry ages ago, there’s no music – no one’s dancing – you would’ve had more fun at home with your blind cat? That’s Twitter these days – or whatever it’s called now. Byeeeeeeeeeee.”

P!nk spoke candidly about her social media experiences in a CBS News interview in October 2023, revealing that she faced death threats after sharing certain messages with her fans. She expressed her desire for connection, stating:

“If I’m a mystery to you, how can I expect you to connect with me? And if I’m a person that’s desperate for connection, then why would mystery be interesting to me? I want to know you. I want you to know me.”

P!nk’s latest album, Trustfall, was released in February last year. In addition to the Summer Carnival Tour, she also organized the Trustfall Tour to promote the album. Both tours are scheduled to conclude in November 2024.
