PHOTO: Anthony Edwards and his firstborn dotingly stare at each other as girlfriend Jeanine Robel watches on
Last month, Anthony Edwards became a father for the first time when his girlfriend Jeanine Robel gave birth to their baby, A.J.E. During a game, Edwards left the court to be by Robel’s side and witness the special moment. Robel recently posted a photo on social media capturing the heartwarming moment of Edwards and his newborn child gazing at each other.
On her Instagram stories, Robel shared a photo of herself holding baby A.J.E. while Edwards gazed adoringly at their child. This sweet family snapshot may be the first time the trio has been seen together in a public post.
Edwards and Robel have been in a public relationship since January of last year, but it is believed that they have been dating since 2022. Robel was previously in a relationship with rapper Chief Keef and has a son named Krue with him.

NBA Player Anthony Edwards Takes Leave of Absence to Witness Birth of His Child
On March 1, the Sacramento Kings visited the Target Center to face off against Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves. Edwards began the game and remained on the court for the first half, recording a total of 11 points, two rebounds, and two assists.
After the first half, the Timberwolves announced that Edwards would not be playing in the second half. This decision puzzled certain fans who were concerned about a potential injury. Nonetheless, the team clarified that his absence was a result of “personal matters.”
During the broadcast, it was announced that Edwards had left the game at halftime due to Jeanine Robel going into labor. He hurried to the hospital to witness the birth of his first child. The Kings capitalized on his absence and secured a 124-120 victory over Minnesota.
Will Anthony Edwards’ talent bring playoff success for the Timberwolves?
Despite falling short in their previous game against the Chicago Bulls with a score of 109-101, Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves officially secured a spot in the playoffs after the Phoenix Suns defeated the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday night. They had a chance to clinch their playoff spot on Saturday, but ultimately achieved their goal thanks to the Suns’ victory.
Despite holding the top spot in the Western Conference standings for most of the season, Minnesota’s momentum slowed after the All-Star break. The absence of Karl-Anthony Towns due to injury contributed to this decline, and Anthony Edwards has also had some subpar performances.
Despite the fact that the West is highly competitive, the Timberwolves are expected to secure a spot in the playoffs and potentially have the advantage of playing on their home court. However, they will still face tough opponents like the New Orleans Pelicans, Dallas Mavericks, Sacramento Kings, and Phoenix Suns, making it unlikely for them to have any easy matchups.
