Project Delta: A Sneak Peek

Details about this upcoming project are currently limited. The partnership was initially revealed through official agreement documents that fans promptly uncovered. The project is referred to as “Project Delta”during its development phase.

Understanding Development and Ownership

While the official documents provide little insight into the specifics of the game, such as its release timeline or targeted platforms, they do mention that Project Delta will utilize intellectual property rights owned by Sony. This could potentially lead to a new PlayStation platform experience, possibly even a live-service model.

“The Production Agreement provides that works on the Product will be performed in the work-for-hire model, i.e., by the Company as a developer as commissioned by and for the Publisher in return for which the developer will receive the agreed remuneration from the Publisher, ” the document states.

Additionally, both parties have established clear milestones that must be achieved for the development process to progress and for payments to be disbursed.

Previous Works and Current Endeavors

People Can Fly has an impressive portfolio, having developed popular titles such as Painkiller, Bulletstorm, and recently, Outriders. They are also assisting in the creation of Gears of War: E-Day for The Coalition and are working on another unnamed project with the Korean publisher, Krafton. According to information available on their official website, People Can Fly has four different AAA projects currently in development across their six global locations.
