As Patriot Viper proudly marks its 40th anniversary, the company introduces a new era of performance with the launch of its high-performance Viper Xtreme 5 memory series.

Celebrating four decades of excellence in the memory industry, Patriot is excited to unveil a special edition of DDR5 memory. In a recent post on social media, the company revealed details about the Viper Xtreme 5 “40 Years”RGB DDR5 memory, designed to commemorate its legacy.

This latest memory module showcases impressive performance and low latency, clocking in at speeds of up to 8000 MT/s, making it an ideal choice for high-performance gaming PCs and workstations. Although detailed specifications are still forthcoming, it is anticipated that these modules will be optimized for use with Intel’s Z890 chipset motherboards, catering specifically to the Intel Core Ultra 200S processors.

Patriot Viper Xtreme 5 40 Years RGB DDR5

The Xtreme 5 “40 Years”edition memory builds upon the existing Xtreme 5 RGB DDR5 line but features a fresh design with a distinctive dark blue heatsink, deviating from the standard black and white themes of the regular models. In terms of speed, it remains consistent with the performance standard set by the original Xtreme 5 RGB DDR5 modules, and it fully supports Intel’s XMP 3.0 for optimal performance on Intel platforms.

Additionally, this special edition includes customizable RGB lighting located on the heat spreaders, which can be tailored using popular RGB management software such as RGB Fusion 2.0, Polychrome Sync, Mystic Light Sync, and Aura Sync. Following the specifications of its predecessors, the special edition is expected to offer CL timings of 38-49-49-85, alongside memory capacity options of 16 GB and 24 GB.

As of now, Patriot has yet to disclose the pricing and availability details for the Xtreme 5 “40 Years”RGB DDR5 memory. Enthusiasts and customers alike will need to stay tuned for updates from the company regarding this exciting new product.
