Weaknesses and Preparation

Unlike prior bosses like Jamanra, Doryani lacks obvious exploitable weaknesses. This means success hinges on understanding his mechanics and avoiding damage effectively.

However, preparation remains crucial:

Ensure your character is at least level 45 before engaging Doryani. If you’re unprepared, consider leveling up in the Black Chambers or acquiring superior gear.
Complete the Trial of Chaos and secure your ascendancy points. Accumulating four points will allow you to optimize one branch of your skill tree.
Collect your four free Passive Skill Points from The Mighty Silverfist, and by performing a heart sacrifice on the altar within the Aggorat.
Defeat Ignagduk to earn 30 Spirit Points, and locate the Vials in the Venom Crypt.
Amass gold by selling surplus items to facilitate refunds for unneeded Passive Skill Points and regular checks on Oswald’s shop.

Completing the above preparations will establish a solid foundation for taking on Doryani. If you find yourself encountering difficulties, consider reassessing your character build.

While Doryani isn’t particularly vulnerable to cold, be aware that he exhibits slight resistance against Fire and Lightning attacks.

I initially leaned heavily on Lightning Rod for damage but found success with basic attacks while emphasizing evasion.

Ultimately, you’ll start recognizing his patterns and moving preemptively.

Dorian (75%)

Upon reducing Doryani’s health to around 75%, he will alter his attack patterns, making the battle significantly more demanding. Agility and efficient dodge rolls are crucial at this stage.

Crystal Trap	Doryani activates traps that zap endangered zones with red electricity if triggered.	Avoid the crystals entirely, or if caught, roll away promptly.
Vaal Mechanism	A rotating contraption emerges periodically from the arena’s center, firing lasers in a set pattern.	Dodge these attacks by navigating the openings between each firing sequence.
Dual Explosion	Doryani gathers fire and electricity, triggering a large area-of-effect explosion.	Recognize the orange and blue ring before retreating to avoid the blast.

Once Doryani’s health drops below 50%, he will shift positions to the center of the arena, signaling the start of the second phase of the fight.

This new stage introduces fresh mechanics, requiring adaptation in your strategy to overcome him.

Doryani’s Triumph (100%)

In this phase, **positioning becomes paramount**. While mobility characterized the initial encounter, success here depends on strategic placement.

Maintain position at the side of the mech whenever possible.

The majority of his attacks strike forward or behind, so staying nearby allows ample time to observe and respond to his next moves.
