Path of Exile 2 Guide: Obtaining Sekhema’s Resolve Ring

Sekhema’s Resolve Ring is a *Unique Ring* in Path of Exile 2, renowned for its scarcity and the formidable challenge required to obtain it. This illustrious item can only be acquired by defeating one of the game’s most powerful pinnacle bosses, but there’s a catch—it must be done while you are significantly handicapped, making it a daunting task for even the most seasoned players.

Successfully obtaining this ring demands an endgame-ready character, equipped with top-tier gear, a high character level, and excellent skill execution. Below, we provide a detailed guide on how to secure this prestigious item.

How to Acquire Sekhema’s Resolve Ring in PoE 2

Sekhema's Resolve Ring in Path of Exile 2

The acclaimed Sekhema’s Resolve Ring drops exclusively from **Zarokh, the Temporal**, who is the final boss within **The Trial of the Sekhemas** on its fourth floor. Notably, during the boss encounter, you must activate a one-time-use Unique Relic to enhance the chances of obtaining a unique item from Zarokh’s exclusive loot table based on the Relic employed.

To specifically acquire the Sekhema’s Resolve Ring, you must engage with **The Burden of Leadership** Relic. When activated, this Relic imposes a challenging condition where “All Rooms are Unknown on the Trial map, ” akin to the Veiled Sight (Major Affliction) effect. This restriction prevents players from discerning any details regarding the trial’s room types, afflictions, or rewards, greatly intensifying the challenge.

All Unique Relics—including The Burden of Leadership—are obtained as random drops from defeating Zarokh, the Temporal, during any run. Although you cannot determine which Unique Relic will drop, you can enhance the likelihood of finding Unique Relics using the following two strategies:

  1. Increase the Rarity of Items Found: Stack this modifier on your gear for enhanced loot outcomes.
  2. Utilize Relics with Increased Quantity Stats: Equip Relics that provide “#% Increased Quantity of Relics Dropped By Monsters” in the Djinn Barya before commencing your run.

Additionally, securing the Enchanted Urn Minor Boon during your run boosts the effectiveness of your non-Unique Relics by 30%, significantly improving your drop rate chances.

It’s crucial to note that Zarokh, the Temporal, can only be challenged through Level 75+ Djinn Baryas, which consist of four floors. Alternatively, you may acquire any Unique Relic directly through the official Path of Exile 2 trading site; however, for efficiency, purchasing the Sekhema’s Resolve Ring directly is advisable.

Using Sekhema’s Resolve Ring

There are three distinct variants of the Sekhema’s Resolve Ring:

  1. Sekhema’s Resolve Ring (Ruby)
  2. Sekhema’s Resolve Ring (Emerald)
  3. Sekhema’s Resolve Ring (Sapphire)

Each variant permits the socketing of a Jewel, enhancing the Ring’s inherent benefits with additional effects from the Jewel. However, it’s important to know that a Ruby variant will only accept Ruby Jewels, while the same restriction applies to the Emerald and Sapphire versions.

These Rings essentially provide an additional Jewel Socket without requiring extra points in the Passive Skill tree. However, note that Unique Jewels cannot be socketed into any Sekhema’s Resolve Ring.

Socketing a Jewel is straightforward: simply left-click the Jewel, hover over the chosen Ring, and click again to place the Jewel inside. You can easily swap Jewels at your convenience by right-clicking to remove them.
