How to Obtain Olroth’s Resolve Unique Life Flask in PoE 2
The only way to obtain Olroth’s Resolve is by defeating Olroth, Origin of the Fall, the pinnacle boss of the Expeditions in PoE 2. This formidable foe can only be found during Level 79+ Expedition Logbook runs. However, encountering Olroth isn’t guaranteed; he appears randomly, though his spawn rate is fairly decent, with approximately half of the Level 79+ Logbooks containing this challenging boss fight.
Expedition Logbooks are scarce drops found in endgame Expeditions maps, typically obtained through defeating enemies triggered by Detonations or by opening Excavated Chests. Once you’ve secured a suitably leveled Logbook, visit Dannig in your Hideout to activate the Expedition Map interface, which allows you to enter the maps where Olroth might spawn.
You will only be able to see Dannig in your Hideout after encountering him in an Expedition map on the Atlas. The Expeditions Atlas Tree features several nodes that can increase your Logbook levels by +1, enabling a chance to meet Olroth using Level 78 (or lower) Logbooks, which are generally easier to obtain. To earn Expedition Atlas points, players must progressively defeat Olroth in increasingly challenging Logbooks.
What Makes Olroth’s Resolve Ultimate Life Flask Exceptional in PoE 2
The primary reason Olroth’s Resolve is heralded as the best Life Flask for any build is its unique ability known as Instant Recovery. This feature allows players to restore health immediately upon activation, as opposed to the gradual recovery offered by other flasks in the game. In Path of Exile 2, the advantage of instant recovery far surpasses that of gradual recovery, making the Instant Recovery modifier a sought-after feature in both Life and Mana Flasks.
