The latest Palworld Feybreak update introduces an exhilarating challenge with a new tower boss for players to conquer. You can engage with this formidable enemy as soon as you arrive on the new island.
Before diving into battle, there are several requirements to meet. Fret not, as these prerequisites can be completed fairly quickly.
This comprehensive guide outlines essential preparations for the showdown and offers strategies to defeat this exciting new foe.
Preparation for the Encounter
In the most recent update, you must collect Bounty Tokens to initiate certain boss fights. These tokens are rewards you receive after defeating the new Alpha Pals introduced in the Feybreak update.

Acquiring the Bounty Tokens necessary to face the tower boss is relatively straightforward. Below, I’ve compiled a list of the required tokens along with their respective locations to help you locate and conquer the necessary bosses.

While you aren’t required to have the new Hexolite gear to challenge the boss, it’s wise to optimize your defenses with cold resistance gear. A decent set of cold-resistant armor will help mitigate Bastigor’s ice damage, complemented by a sturdy shield.
The boss has a considerable health pool, approximately 500, 000 HP, making it quite a tank. It’s advisable to come prepared with revival potions, recovery items, and attack-boosting cuisine to bolster your party’s effectiveness in battle.
Locating the Tower
Upon my initial journey to Feybreak Island, I assumed the Tower boss would be easily accessible, but I was mistaken.

The Tower boss is situated at the southern edge of Frozen Coral Hill and is visible from a distance. After making your way to this location, prepare to engage the boss with your Pal team.
Confronting the Boss
For your safety, Iwould advise against commencing the fight in hard mode right away, as it can be challenging to predict the boss’s attacks without prior experience. Depending on your world settings, additional preparation may be necessary.

The easier mode is quite manageable, allowing you to take cover behind pillars found within the dungeon. Enemy attacks can be dodged as they aren’t as overwhelming as one might expect.
Including Gobfins or Fire Pals in your team can significantly help in countering the boss’s attacks. Utilizing Gobfins will allow you to concentrate on inflicting damage, while Fire Pals are particularly effective against the Ice-type Bastigor.
Pay attention to Bastigor’s attack patterns, as they track your movements. It’s crucial to start dodging before an attack lands, making evasion straightforward.

Incorporating Ragnahawk and Gobfins into your lineup can maximize your damage output while also providing flight to dodge incoming hits.
Don’t forget, Gobfins will enhance your overall damage output, though they aren’t your only options. Consider bringing along Jormuntide Ignises, Ragnahawk, or Incineram to assist in defeating Bastigor.
Rewards for Your Efforts
Upon completing the regular mode battle, you will receive 5 Ancient Technology Points as your initial reward.

Regrettably, defeating Bastigor does not earn you an egg, which may be a disappointment for some players. To obtain Bastigor for your base, you will need to breed Frostallion and Anubis in a Breeding Farm, resulting in a Huge Frozen egg.
If you dares to attempt the hard mode, you will be rewarded with a unique Bjorn Hat (headpiece) that your character can equip.
