Palworld April 4 update has broken Incubators in-game
After the game update to 4 v0.2.0.6, Palworld players have encountered difficulties in placing eggs into their in-game incubators. This problem was widely discussed on the subreddit, with many members of the community expressing their frustration about it.
After some time, X released an official statement on behalf of Pocket Pair addressing the issue. Despite not providing a patch or fix, the developers did reveal a solution that the community had already discovered: disassembling the old incubators and constructing new ones.
Palworld Incubators No Longer Functional After April 4 Update
Once v0.2.0.6 was made available on Steam, I immediately logged on to try out the initial Raid Boss. It didn’t take long for me to realize that the incubators in my base were not functioning properly and preventing me from placing any eggs. After a few moments of frustration, I decided to dismantle the current incubator and construct a new one. To my relief, everything returned to its usual state.
As I questioned whether the mechanics of the Palworld April 4 update had been compromised or if it was just a glitch in my specific save, I stumbled upon the announcement from Pocket Pair. It remains unclear if an official solution will be provided for this issue. Fortunately, dismantling items will not result in a decrease of retrieved resources.
Today’s (April 4, 2024) update included the addition of the Electric Egg Incubator. This new item utilizes electricity to maintain the ideal temperature for each egg. Additionally, the v0.2.0.6 patch notes mentioned a decrease in the button press time required for the egg incubator by the developers.
The April 4th release brought the game’s initial Raid Boss, Bellanoir, into the game. This powerful creature can be found within Palworld Raids, but only if you have constructed the Summoning Altar.
Additionally, the developers have revealed their intentions to release a Palworld Summer 2024 update. This update will include a new island, exciting adventures, and new Pals to discover.
