One Redditor, u/Salt-Standard9587, boldly suggested that the appeal of the 2B Kiriko skin could potentially fund the future of Overwatch, should Blizzard consider this fan-favorite concept. The Redditor remarked:
“That skin would fund Overwatch 3.”
Blizzard has a track record of producing unique skins that quickly become fan favorites. Recently, they unveiled a collection inspired by My Hero Academia for Overwatch 2. Should they ever choose to collaborate with Nier Automata, u/Financial-Pizza3000 anticipates that the 2B skin would undoubtedly be a commercial success, dubbing it:
