Origin Code, an emerging name in memory manufacturing based in the US, has launched its latest product: the Vortex DDR5. This innovative memory kit is designed to deliver exceptional performance across a range of capacities, paired with a cutting-edge cooling system.
Introducing Vortex DDR5: High-Capacity Memory with Exceptional Speed
For those unfamiliar with Origin Code, the company has made waves in the memory market by claiming to offer the world’s fastest high-capacity DDR5 memory, aptly named Vortex DDR5. It boasts some noteworthy technological advancements that set it apart from typical memory kits. Although independent testing is pending, Origin Code has shared compelling data indicating that the Vortex DDR5 can achieve a remarkable 6000 MT/s speed on a 256 GB memory kit with an impressive latency of CL30.

In addition to its impressive speed and low latency, the Vortex DDR5 introduces a unique active cooling solution featuring three fans. This system is designed to enhance airflow directly over the memory modules, ensuring rapid heat dissipation while maintaining a quieter operational environment. Dubbed the “triple 4020 dual-ball bearing fan module, ”this setup uses a compact 40mm fan configuration to deliver a robust 22.5 CFM of airflow.

The innovative triple fan cooling system is further enhanced by the patented “Scale Cut Cooling Fin”design, which reportedly improves heat dissipation by up to 39.8%.Crafted with a high-grade aluminum alloy, the Vortex DDR5 modules not only perform exceptionally but also feature a polished mirror-like finish that enhances their aesthetic appeal. The memory can support Dual EXPO profiles, allowing the 48 GB x2 kit to reach speeds of 6000 MT/s at CL26 and even 8000 MT/s at CL36.

Origin Code also offers several other memory configurations, including kits of 32 GB (16 GB x 2), 192 GB (48 GB x 4), and 256 GB (64 GB x 4) that can achieve speeds of up to 6200 MT/s at a latency of just CL26. The company has released screenshots demonstrating that these memory frequencies are stable and easily attainable, even on budget-friendly motherboards like the B850M Aorus PRO WiFi 7 and PRO X870-P WiFi, paired with processors including the Ryzen 9600X, 9700X, and 9900X.
While the Vortex DDR5 is not yet available for purchase, Origin Code is expected to provide additional details regarding pricing and availability by mid-October.
