In a teaser video released today on its official X account, OpenAI hinted at a forthcoming event revealing an AI-powered browser at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time (1:00 p.m. Eastern Time).

The short six-second clip prominently displays key phrases: “Livestream, Today, and 10 a.m. PT, ”cleverly formatted within a browser tab layout.

This announcement follows the recent launch of Perplexity’s AI-powered browser named Comet. Initially, Comet was made available exclusively through a subscription model costing $200 per month, but has since transitioned to a free-access format for its users.
