“Only Superbon is on my mind” – Marat Grigorian not thinking about Chingiz Allazov rematch ahead of ONE Friday Fights 58
Marat Grigorian’s main priority at the moment is preparing for his upcoming fight with Superbon for the interim ONE featherweight kickboxing world title. He plans to wait until later to contemplate seeking revenge on current divisional champion Chingiz Allazov.
The experienced Armenian fighter is set to face Supebon in a highly anticipated match for the interim kickboxing belt in the featherweight division at ONE Friday Fights 58 on April 5 in Bangkok, Thailand. This fight will be the main event of the event taking place at the renowned Lumpinee Boxing Stadium.
During his interview with Violent Money TV, Grigorian expressed that his sole focus is on his upcoming fight against Superbon. This rematch is set to take place in March 2022, and Grigorian is fully focused on preparing for this highly-anticipated title clash.
The individual who is 32 years old stated:
“No [not thinking of Allazov]. My only focus is for Superbon, and after that we will see what’s going to happen with Chingiz. But yeah, now only Superbon is on my mind.”

Marat Grigorian suffered a defeat by unanimous decision against Allazov in their title bout last August. However, he quickly rebounded in his next fight in January, securing a victory by third-round knockout over Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong.
At the upcoming ONE Friday Fights 58, he will have the opportunity to redeem himself following his loss to Superbon, the reigning world champion, in their March 2022 title match where he was defeated by unanimous decision.

Superbon prepares for highly anticipated rematch against Marat Grigorian
Despite defeating Marat Grigorian in their previous encounter, Superbon remains fully aware of his opponent’s skills and is not taking him lightly as they prepare for their rematch at ONE Friday Fights 58 on April 5 in Bangkok, Thailand.
The two leading featherweight kickboxing contenders will have a rematch after their closely contested title fight in March 2022. In the previous match, Superbon, who held the featherweight kickboxing championship, emerged victorious by unanimous decision.
Prior to their rematch, the Thai fighter expressed his belief that Marat Grigorian will once again bring the same level of intensity, and he is making sure to be fully prepared for it.
During an interview with ONE Championship, Superbon, who is 33 years old, shared:
“On my end, I know I will bring the best version of myself. For him, I’m sure he is going to be at his very best since it is a world title fight. I won’t underestimate him and I think he also should not underestimate me.”
It is anticipated that the victor of Superbon-Grigorian II will face the current division champion Chingiz Allazov in a unification match afterwards.
