Only Murders in the Building Season 4, Episode 6: The Fate of Dudenoff
This episode of Only Murders in the Building Season 4 is a shining example of the exceptional filmmaking that has characterized the Hulu series. Presented entirely in a documentary style, the sixth installment portrayed the fallout from an assassination attempt on Oliver.
The episode also hinted that there was a broader threat, with someone seemingly out to kill all three main characters, not just Charles. As the investigation progressed, the trio uncovered two metal shoulder plates from Sazz’s remains, confirming the presence of two murders within the building.
As they explored the links between Tawny, Trina, and Dudenoff, they surmised that Dudenoff might have committed a murder first and subsequently went into hiding when the trio began their podcast. In a bid to silence them, he allegedly sought to have Charles killed by the Brothers Sisters.
This confrontation led the trio to engage with Trina and Tawny, who openly admitted their ties to Dudenoff. They confessed to selecting this particular movie project to remain close to him but acknowledged their falling out after shifting to more commercial films.
However, Detective Williams tracked the shoulder plate back to Dudenoff, which confirmed that he was the other victim prior to Sazz, adding a startling twist to the unfolding story.
The Killer Remains at Large
Upon discovering Dudenoff’s murder, the trio found that Trina and Tawny aimed to create a film within a film by installing cameras throughout the Arconia and in the homes of Charles, Mabel, and Oliver. While dismantling these cameras, they stumbled upon additional hidden cameras not associated with the Brothers Sisters.
This led them to realize that the actual murderer had been surveilling them all along. Simultaneously, they received alarming texts from Sazz’s stolen phone, in which the murderer disclosed that they were watching their every move.
This revelation confirmed that a danger still lurked, with someone actively plotting to eliminate them.
Future episodes of Only Murders in the Building Season 4 promise to delve deeper into this chilling new development.
