One UI 4.1.1 is now rolling out to Galaxy Z Flip with latest security patch

One UI 4.1.1 is currently the latest update for Samsung phones. Samsung has already released the update for many foldable and other Galaxy phones. And now the original Galaxy Z Flip is getting the One UI 4.1.1 update in the US and South Korea. Here’s everything you need to know about this new update.

The US update for the Galaxy Z Flip has build number F700USQU5GVHA . It is currently available for the unlocked Galaxy Z Flip. But soon the update will be available for carrier-bound models. The update is also available in South Korea as build number F700NKOU3HVH9 . At the moment we have no information about the size of the update.

As I mentioned earlier, the update focused on improving multitasking for larger phones, tablets, and foldable devices. The list of changes in Galaxy Z Flip One UI 4.1.1 is quite large. And along with a bunch of new features. The US update comes with the August 2022 Android security patch , and in South Korea it comes with the September 2022 security patch . If you are a US Samsung Galaxy Z Flip user, you will receive an OTA update if you have not already received one. This is a phased rollout so it will take time to reach all eligible phones.

You can also manually check for updates if the OTA notification doesn’t work. Select Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. Once an update is available, download and install it. Before updating, be sure to back up your important data and charge your Galaxy to at least 50%.
