Jonathan Di Bella is prepared to face Prajanchai PK Saenchai in the co-main event of ONE Friday Fights 58 on April 5th.

Prior to his ONE strawweight kickboxing world title defense against the division’s Muay Thai champion, the Canadian-Italian fighter revealed the story behind its realization during a recent interview with Calf Kick Sports.

The individual from Montreal provided:

“We’ve always wanted to fight each other. I’ve always been asked questions in interviews saying, ‘Oh would you like to fight Prajanchai, and, of course, I said yeah, it’ll be an honor to fight Prajanchai. And he said the same. So yeah, we got the offer and we accepted it, and we’re here.”

Both men are in excellent condition as they prepare for this exciting Lumpinee Boxing Stadium match later this week.

Jonathan Di Bella has maintained his undefeated record in the ONE Championship arena with noteworthy wins against Zhang Peimian and Danial Williams.

Since his defeat to Joseph Lasiri at ONE 157 in May 2022, Prajanchai has been on a winning streak of four matches. The 29-year-old has secured victories against Lasiri, Sam-A Gaiyanghadao, Akram Hamidi, and Kompet Fairtex.

Jonathan Di Bella set to face Prajanchai in highly anticipated match

The combination of Prajanchai’s extensive experience in Muay Thai and his homecourt advantage could potentially lead to disaster for Jonathan Di Bella if he lets his guard down even for a moment during the intense 15-minute match at the renowned Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Despite only being offered ONE gold and having a 12-0 resume, the Canadian-Italian’s spirit remains unbroken.

The impressive fighter is confident in his ability to take on Prajanchai in any location. Moreover, with a flawless training regime, the reigning champion aims to excel even when faced with difficult situations in the ring.

Jonathan Di Bella reached the same conclusion in the interview.

“Training camp went good. I’m ready to go.”
