Liam Payne Was Facing Legal Issues Before His Death
The British artist was involved in a lawsuit just prior to his untimely passing. His ex-fiancée, Maya Henry, reportedly issued a cease-and-desist notice accusing him of harassment, requesting that he refrain from contacting her family and friends.
Maya Henry revealed this in an October 6 TikTok video, where she claimed, “Since our separation, he has bombarded my phone with messages.”
In a chilling twist, Maya also disclosed that Liam’s associates had urged her not to publish her upcoming fictional work, “Moving Forward,” which was inspired by their relationship, fearing it would negatively impact his mental state. The book includes discussions of her traumatic abortion experience along with other personal stories.
Regrettably, Payne battled alcohol and prescription drug addiction following the disbandment of One Direction, and he previously shared in an interview that he encountered “suicidal ideation” during his time touring with the group.
Liam Payne is survived by his seven-year-old son, Bear, whom he shares with his ex-partner Cheryl Cole.
