Kim Nam-joon, known as RM from BTS, was recently captured in photos alongside the cast of Problematic Men, shared by Jun Hyun-moo on his official Instagram on October 16, 2024. This unexpected get-together with his long-time friends exuded warmth and familiarity, stirring nostalgic feelings among fans of the show’s nine-year run.

The images showcased the group’s camaraderie as they donned relaxed indoor outfits while enjoying lively conversations and a hearty meal together. A snapshot of their dining spread featured an array of pizzas and side dishes, with Jun Hyun-moo seen grilling meat for his guests. The post’s description humorously referred to this gathering as a “secret meeting,”translating to:

“Secret meeting at Hyunmoo-hyung’s house. Namjoon’s talk 95 percent.”

What truly captivated fans was a fast-paced video at the conclusion of the post, highlighting the friends mingling around the food and sharing joyful moments. RM appeared particularly chatty, much to the delight of ARMY fans who were thrilled to see him seemingly taking a break from his military service before j-hope’s discharge on October 17.

Jun Hyun-moo Had Planned a Visit to BTS’ RM During His Military Service

The reunion of the Problematic Men cast had been teased a few times prior to this official gathering. Recently, Jun Hyun-moo and Kim Ji-seok hosted a new ENA talk show named Hyun Moo Kase, where they invite guests to enjoy customized meals in a cozy atmosphere.

In July, shortly after the show’s launch, Jun Hyun-moo expressed his desire to have RM as a guest during a production conference, stating he wanted to prepare RM’s favorite dishes, saying:

“I want to prepare the food that RM likes. (After he is discharged from the military) I will make ‘jjambbap’ that he would miss.”

The show’s producer, Moon Tae-joo, also shared his eagerness to meet the Domodachi rapper, humorously mentioning a possible trip to RM’s military unit to provide meals for the soldiers, if permissions were granted:

Earlier in August, during an episode of Hyun Moo Kase, Jun Hyun-moo again brought up the subject of the 30-year-old BTS star, revealing that the team would be visiting RM casually, without cameras. He joked about posting on Instagram, while Kim Ji-seok shared that RM had personally invited them over.

Jun Hyun-moo noted it was via a text that he received the invitation from RM, while Kim Ji-seok remarked how quickly he replied, praising the BTS leader. Ha Seok-jin, who also appeared on the show, referred to RM as “sincere”and recalled how RM greeted the team during a year-end gathering.

Moreover, Jun Hyun-moo humorously mentioned asking if RM might play the saxophone during their visit, referencing RM’s performance at Jin’s discharge event, to which RM agreed, demonstrating his affection for the group.

“I even joked, ‘If the Problematic Men members visit, would you play the saxophone like you did at Jin’s discharge?’ He said he would. While it was a joke, it emphasizes how much he cares about us. Reminds me of Rap Monster.”

The fondness and camaraderie within the Problematic Men crew for BTS’ RM were clearly evident as Kim Ji-seok and Ha Seok-jin affectionately referred to him as the maknae among them, continuing to express their affection for him.

In other updates, BTS’ RM’s documentary film Right People, Wrong Place was recently invited to screen at the 29th Busan International Film Festival. The film debuted under the Open Cinema section, and CJ 4DPLEX, the film’s distribution partner, announced plans to roll out the documentary across 3,000 theaters globally starting this December.

Right People, Wrong Place encapsulates RM’s experiences in his late twenties, just before entering the military, and takes audiences through an eight-month journey behind the making of his second solo album, Right Place, Wrong Person.
