Oliva Culpo opens up on hardest part of planning wedding with Christian McCaffrey
Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo are eagerly anticipating their wedding, though the exact date has yet to be determined. However, they have made progress in planning, and it is possible that the ceremony will take place in Culpo’s home state of Rhode Island.
As the couple continues to make arrangements for their upcoming nuptials, the 2012 Miss Universe winner has offered some interesting thoughts. During a recent Ask Me Anything session, she was questioned about the most difficult part of organizing their wedding. Her answer was as follows:
“Guest list is by FAR the hardest part. A lot of venues have restrictions on # of ppl”
The exact number of guests Culpo and McCaffrey will invite to their wedding is still uncertain. This could indicate that they intend to have a large number of attendees, but are unable to do so due to current visitor restrictions.
Despite this challenge, their wedding plans will not be affected. In fact, they have already celebrated their engagement with a party in Rhode Island in July. During the event, McCaffrey came to his fiancee’s rescue when she experienced a wardrobe malfunction. Additionally, Culpo enjoyed a multiple-day bridal shower in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with her loved ones.
In the midst of their busy schedules and various projects, Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo are also making arrangements for their upcoming wedding. Most recently, Culpo promoted her partnership with swimwear brand Montce, while the couple also participated in a promotional campaign for Body Armor last month.
They also took a trip to an undisclosed destination. In a separate update, they visited Rhode Island to sample cakes for their wedding.
Regarding the wedding preparations, McCaffrey stated in his pre-Super Bowl 58 press conference that Culpo is primarily in charge of handling the details. He does offer his input on occasion, but ultimately trusts her to handle the majority of the planning.
In April 2023, Culpo and McCaffrey announced their engagement in Utah, four years after initial dating rumors. As they prepare for their upcoming wedding, Culpo shared in a People Magazine article her wish for her pet golden doodle, Oliver, to serve as their ring bearer.

During her AMA, someone inquired whether Culpo plans on having children with McCaffrey. Culpo’s response was as follows:
“In my head I want a million!!!! I wonder how many I’ll actually end up having”
Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey will need to carefully plan for that aspect of their married life because they have busy times ahead.
As McCaffrey continues her projects, she is also preparing for the San Francisco 49ers’ offseason program, which begins on Apr. 15. The team’s OTA workouts are scheduled to start on May 20.
