Warner Animation Group is gearing up to adapt Dr. Seuss’s cherished book, Oh, the Places You’ll Go!, into a full-length animated feature. Published by Random House in 1990, this book marked the final work released during Dr. Seuss’s lifetime. It has since become one of his most cherished titles, offering whimsical insight into the rollercoaster of life, adorned with the author’s signature humorous verse.
Efforts to create a film adaptation date back to the 1990s, when efforts were led by producer Ben Myron and director Roland Joffé, who aimed to produce an animated musical. Despite early enthusiasm, the project encountered multiple delays and eventually fell into development limbo. However, in 2020, Warner Animation Group reignited the project, teaming up with J. J.Abrams’ Bad Robot to bring Oh, the Places You’ll Go! back to life on the big screen.
