Windows 11 Insider Preview Build Update 22622.450 fixes more bugs

Microsoft is launching two new preview builds of Windows 11 for the beta testing channel. Newly released builds are marked with version numbers 22621.450 and 22622.450. Obviously, both builds are a gradual update from last week’s preview builds 22621.440 and 22622.440. A newer incremental update contains many fixes for the beta channel. Microsoft is releasing a new cumulative update for the beta channel with version number 10.0.22622.450 (KB5016700). As with last week’s beta, new features are available for 22622.450, while new features for 22621.450 are not enabled by default. However, you can try new features by installing an incremental update on your PC. If you selected the beta channel in the Windows Insider program, you will receive the update over the air.

Moving on to the changes, the latest build fixes many known issues, the list includes tablet mode features displayed on non-touch devices, a blank task view section in some app windows, fixes an issue with error code 0x80070026 when copying files to network drives, Edge is unresponsive in IE mode, along with some other issues.

The update also enhances the ability of Microsoft Defender for Endpoints to detect and intercept ransomware and advanced attacks, improve low-bandwidth storage replication, and more. Here is a complete list of fixes and known issues.

If you joined the Insider Preview through the beta channel and are running Windows 11, you will receive the new update. You can get either of the two builds, and if you get build 22621.440, you will have the option to upgrade to build 22622.440.

You can simply go to Settings > Windows Update > click on Check for Updates. And from there, you can simply install the update on your computer.
