Objective Locations and Tips for Hide and Seek in Ready Or Not

In tactical shooters like Ready or Not, traditional boss battles are rarely featured, yet the mission at Port Hokan serves as a notable exception, presenting players with an experience similar to a boss-level challenge.

The “Hide and Seek”mission marks the final level of the base game, intricate and demanding, as it encapsulates many of the investigations you’ve undertaken through your door-busting efforts.

This mission encompasses a total of seven distinct objectives, all of which are guarded by roughly two dozen formidable foes. Notably, some of the suspects blend in with civilians, adding a layer of complexity to your approach.

It’s safe to say that players face significant challenges during this mission, but with the right strategies, success is within reach. Below are insights and tips for navigating the “Hide and Seek”mission in Ready or Not.

Essential Tips for Ready Or Not: Hide and Seek

The Port Hokan area resembles a maze filled with containers, forklifts, trucks, and various buildings, making navigation quite challenging. Though the pathways can feel circuitous, they also provide ample cover, allowing you to tactically peek and shoot from behind shelter while suspicious individuals have plenty of spots to conceal themselves.

While certain sections of “Hide and Seek”do not reach the dark intensity of Twisted Nerve, it’s advisable to equip night-vision goggles for the dimly lit areas. If you opt for this equipment, don’t forget to attach an IR pointer or a holographic sight to your weapon.

Given the expansive nature of the map coupled with long-range sightlines, strongly consider assigning at least one team member to carry a grenade launcher. This tool can effectively neutralize threats quickly, particularly when crossing open areas. Be aware that some suspects are armed with high-caliber 7.62x51mm rifles loaded with armor-piercing rounds, so engage them with caution.

For better immersion and navigation, the objectives have been roughly marked on the sparse map that you’ll reference on your device. Notably, Point 3 combines two objectives at the same location.

As you strategize your approach, consider pushing south from the west side, but remain mindful of possible flanking routes from suspects in the northeast. Alternatively, moving east can lead to being caught between challenges from both the refinery office and the warehouse.Personally, I recommend targeting the refinery first, as this reduces the chances of rear attacks.

If you choose to tackle the northern route instead, be prepared to quickly secure the warehouse entrances, starting with the door on side 4 and then proceeding to those on side 1, including the annexes (D1, D2, and D3).

This method poses risks, as you might face fire from southern snipers as you move toward the tower, where suspects from the refinery can also pose a threat, in addition to possibly ambushed civilians emerging from the warehouse. You can push through this route, utilizing flash grenades liberally, and employ a shield-bearing ally at the forefront.

The primary objectives in the “Hide and Seek”mission are identifiable by their location within orange containers adorned with a spider symbol. Several counterfeit containers are scattered throughout, complicating your search if you’re unaware of their true positions.

1. Report Illegal Drugs Storage Container

This is not merely a legal drug container; after all, illicit activities are happening at a heavily fortified port in Los Sueños.

The initial soft objective is conveniently located a short distance from your entry point. Stick to the left side of the map as you move eastward, keeping an eye out for a flashlight shining off an orange barrier, which indicates proximity to the container.

2. Locate Weapon Storage Container

The second notable storage container lies in the southern region of the map, positioned between the entry point and the refinery’s reception building. Navigate toward a parked forklift, then veer right into the container’s narrow alleyway, where arrows placed by the adversaries guide your way.

Once you pass through the container decorated with kitschy furniture, turn right and proceed toward the BlueFuel refinery. The weapons container awaits to your right, nestled between two others.

3. Report Missing Persons & Close the Container Doors

Prepare yourself for one of the most emotionally charged encounters in Ready or Not, taking place in a container next to building D1. Within, you’ll discover victims of human trafficking that require reporting.

The dialogue you’ll engage in is profoundly uncomfortable, leaving you with a pivotal choice: you can either follow orders and seal the container for an additional 50 points or defy the command, risking repercussions from FISA.

Only approach this container after clearing the port exterior, as its location is notably exposed.

4. Report Auction Room Laptops

Continuing the grim theme, your final task is to locate laptops in an auction room intended for bidding on human victims.

This ominous auction room is situated within a container tunnel on the far side of the warehouse, accessible from either end with minor difference.

The primary entrance is located at the northeastern corner of the warehouse, marked with no-entry signs, while the rear entrance aligns with the wall of containers marked with the spider symbol. Beware: if you have AI teammates, their pathfinding can sometimes malfunction indoors, leading to unexpected delays.

Inside, you’ll find the laptops in question along the tunnel, revealing a chilling scene of a recently disrupted auction. Be wary of a hostile suspect who may charge at you suddenly. Approach this area with caution, and remember that frightened civilians may be in the vicinity, so avoid impulse fire.
