Obie Trice appeared to express his support for the controversial hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy”Combs, sparking a significant reaction on the internet. On Saturday, September 28, Trice shared an Instagram post criticizing “internet people”and urging social media users not to let online narratives sway their opinions regarding the allegations against Diddy.
Trice’s Instagram update featured a straightforward image of Diddy with Jay-Z’s “Grammy Family” Freestyle playing in the background. He even mentioned the track, which stems from a freestyle session on Hot 97, in the caption of his post. In a passionate message urging people to stop meddling with the lives of individuals, Obie Trice wrote:
“diddy Media medals n***az sue you settle every step you take you reminded you ghetto!!!🙏🏾 stay strong🫡 #mostkings you internet people is hilarious man I don’t know puff but he a black man yall let this internet influence YOU!! That’s why I’m never on this bs frfr.”

Responses on social media to Obie Trice’s comments about Diddy varied widely. One X (formerly Twitter) user, identified as @rvziel_Kain, criticized Trice, suggesting he stay informed:
“Shut the f**k up, Obie. Yo stupid a*s, read the news or some s**t. 😒”
Similar sentiments emerged as social media users speculated that Trice had not seen the reported CNN footage of Puff Daddy allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura. Many interpreted Obie’s post as an indication he might be hiding something, while others insisted that guilt is universal, irrespective of race.
Nevertheless, a select group of social media users echoed Trice’s sentiments, asserting that the internet is a harsh environment and that his claims held validity.
New Allegations Against Diddy Emerge
Recently, another alleged victim of Sean “Diddy”Combs surfaced, detailing the purported violations she faced at the hands of the prominent record producer. The woman’s lawsuit, filed on Friday, September 27, claims that Diddy allegedly raped and drugged her multiple times at his residences. As reported by Live Mint, the lawsuit contained the following statement:
“At every visit, (Combs) would make her ‘perform a show’ for him and would ply her with alcohol and substances until she passed out — she would wake up with bruising and injuries but with no recollection of how she sustained her injuries.”
According to NPR, the individual, identified only as Jane Doe, asserts that she began seeing Diddy in 2021, with the alleged drugging and assault continuing until as recently as July. Jane Doe claims she was manipulated into traveling to various locations, had her whereabouts tracked, conversations monitored, and her sexual encounters filmed without her consent by Diddy and his associates.
Furthermore, Jane Doe alleges that by the spring of 2022, she consistently blacked out after being forced to engage in sexual acts with Combs and consume drugs that may have contained ketamine. According to NPR, she discovered her pregnancy in the summer of 2022.
As reported by USA Today, Diddy’s associate Caresha Brownlee, known as the rapper Yung Miami, allegedly insisted that she terminate the pregnancy.
The lawsuit claims that the plaintiff eventually experienced a miscarriage due to the severe stress. As noted by Mint, the lawsuit against Diddy, his company, and associates seeks an undisclosed amount in damages for the humiliation, anxiety, physical injuries, emotional distress, and other forms of suffering allegedly experienced by the victim.
