NVIDIA’s DGX Spark, a groundbreaking mini-supercomputer designed to empower users with substantial AI capabilities, is set to debut in retail outlets this month. Multiple Add-in Board (AIB) partners, including renowned brands such as ASUS, MSI, and Gigabyte, are preparing to launch their variants alongside NVIDIA’s offering.
NVIDIA’s DGX Spark to Deliver 1, 000 TOPS of AI Power, Priced at $4, 000
NVIDIA has played a pivotal role in advancing AI technology, primarily by providing the necessary computational power that propels market innovations. Recognizing the demand for robust AI performance at a more accessible price point, the company unveiled the DGX Spark AI mini-supercomputer last year. According to a report from the Taiwan Economic Daily, we can anticipate its retail launch this month, complemented by various models from prominent AIBs.

As NVIDIA’s most compact AI device to date, the DGX Spark delivers outstanding performance despite its small size. Although complete technical specifications have not yet been disclosed, it is confirmed that this powerful machine is equipped with the GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, which boasts NVIDIA’s advanced Blackwell GPU. This setup features fifth-generation Tensor Cores and FP4 support, enabling the DGX Spark to achieve a remarkable 1, 000 trillion operations per second (TOPS) for AI fine-tuning and inference tasks.
Interestingly, NVIDIA has opted not to restrict the DGX Spark’s design exclusively to its reference model, paving the way for AIBs to contribute to its market presence. At the recent Computex 2025 event, attendees had the chance to view models from manufacturers like Gigabyte and MSI, including the EdgeXpert MS-C931 and AI TOP ATOM. While these devices sport moderate aesthetics, they promise to deliver high-end performance, as confirmed by their representatives on the show floor. Specific performance metrics remain largely unverified, but early indications suggest that the DGX Spark will be a formidable contender in the AI landscape.

The impending launch of NVIDIA’s DGX Spark marks a significant advancement in AI hardware technology. However, with its extraordinary capabilities comes an equally extraordinary price tag—expected to reach $4, 000. While this may be a barrier for average consumers, professionals in the field may find the investment justifiable for the advanced AI performance it offers.
