NVIDIA is set to expand its gaming graphics card lineup with the forthcoming GeForce RTX 5060 and RTX 5050 series, aimed specifically at entry-level and mainstream gamers.
Upcoming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 & RTX 5050 GPUs: Entry-Level Gaming Solutions
Recently, we shared news about the anticipated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, which will be available in both 16 GB and 8 GB configurations. Newer insights reveal more about the additional entry-level offerings, namely the GeForce RTX 5060 and GeForce RTX 5050.
According to our sources, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 will utilize the “PG162 WeU 25″printed circuit board (PCB) and is expected to feature up to 8 GB of memory. Meanwhile, the upcoming RTX 5050 is anticipated to have a total board power (TBP) of 145W and is slated for an April launch. It’s noteworthy that the RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB models will debut in the first half of April, while the RTX 5060 8 GB versions are likely to be released toward the end of that month.

If NVIDIA prices the RTX 5060 at approximately $299, we can speculate that the RTX 5050 will be positioned between $199 and $249. This pricing strategy places it directly in competition with the Intel Arc B580, a formidable rival in this market segment, while prospective AMD releases may also intensify competition in the sub-$300 range.
Preliminary details indicate that the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 will also come with 8 GB of memory and a TBP rating of 145W. While the card may initially be rated at 135W—10W less than the RTX 5060 8 GB—specifics regarding the GPU architecture or PCB design remain undisclosed. Updates regarding its launch, scheduled for April, suggest that it may be released in both Non-Ti and Ti variants.
Insider information from reputable source MEGAsizeGPU indicates that the official announcement for the GeForce RTX 5060 series is anticipated in about ten days, with the actual launch proper taking place in the following month.
