The RTX PRO 6000 features a dual-slot design reminiscent of the RTX 5090 Founders Edition. Both GPUs share the same GB202 die, resulting in notable similarities; however, the RTX PRO 6000 stands out as the more powerful variant. While the RTX 5090 is equipped with 21, 760 CUDA cores, the PRO model ramps up the numbers to an impressive 24, 064 CUDA cores. Most importantly, the RTX PRO 6000 triples the memory capacity, a feat currently unattainable for the RTX 5090.

Equipped with 96 GB of GDDR7 memory, the RTX PRO 6000 doubles the VRAM compared to its predecessor, the RTX 6000 ADA. This substantial VRAM makes it exceptionally suited for demanding AI tasks, making it an excellent choice for startups and small businesses. The RTX PRO 6000 also boasts features like Multi-Instance GPU (MIG), allowing it to partition into four instances, thus enhancing multitasking capabilities.

Although primarily designed for professional use, the RTX PRO 6000 can still play games; however, users shouldn’t expect significant performance improvements over the RTX 5090. It does show slight enhancements in path tracing tasks, making it a versatile option within its target market.
