According to insights shared by @realVictor_M, MECHREVO’s upcoming model, the Kuangshi X Gaming laptop, will be equipped with the GB207-based GeForce RTX 5050 chip. This imminent launch suggests that the RTX 5050 laptop variant will receive its official introduction from NVIDIA. At this point, it remains unclear whether the RTX 5050 laptop will be available globally on June 24 or if the release will occur in stages. For now, consumers in the Chinese market will have the opportunity to purchase these laptops, with discussions of the desktop GPU launch slated for next month.

The GeForce RTX 5050, the entry-level model in the RTX 50 series, features the GB207 die, which encompasses 2560 CUDA cores along with 8 GB of VRAM. There is ongoing debate regarding whether the memory will utilize GDDR6 or GDDR7 technology; however, reports suggest that the laptop variant is more likely to include GDDR7 VRAM.

Targeted towards budget-conscious gamers seeking smooth 1080p gameplay, the RTX 5050 will support advanced technologies such as DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation. This release is anticipated to be part of the final wave of NVIDIA’s initial lineup before the “Super”series is unveiled later this year.
