NVIDIA Unveils New Game Ready Driver for Major Game Releases

Today, NVIDIA has rolled out a new Game Ready driver tailored for its GeForce graphics cards. This driver is specifically optimized for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, which is poised to be the standout release of the month, officially launching on November 14. Activision faces strong competition following the successful launches of two notable shooters: Battlefield 6 and ARC Raiders.

Optimizations for Upcoming Titles

In addition to supporting Call of Duty, the driver enhances performance for Europa Universalis V, the long-awaited sequel from Paradox Interactive’s acclaimed grand strategy series, returning after a twelve-year hiatus. Europa Universalis V is available today on PC and boasts compatibility with DLSS Super Resolution, granting players access to the latest transformer model via the NVIDIA application.

Moreover, the Game Ready driver is optimized for Anno 117: Pax Romana, a real-time strategy game involving city-building dynamics. This title is set for release on November 13 and will also support DLSS Super Resolution to enhance visual fidelity.

NVIDIA DLSS with GeForce RTX logo promoting game performance includes titles like FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH and EUROPA UNIVERSALIS V.

Recent Game Launches with DLSS Support

Wreckreation, an expansive open-world racing game emphasizing destruction, debuted last week and comes equipped with DLSS Super Resolution alongside the optional transformer model accessible through the NVIDIA app. Earlier this month, indie studio Jaw Drop Games released Deathground, a co-op horror experience where players must survive against predatory dinosaurs. This title supports DLSS 4, offering features like Super Resolution, Frame Generation, Multi Frame Generation, and DLAA for a richer gaming experience.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Enhancements

In a notable update, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will receive enhancements today, including the introduction of DLSS Frame Generation and Multi Frame Generation. This update aims to boost frame rates significantly for users of GeForce RTX 40 and 50 Series GPUs. While the game previously supported DLSS Super Resolution, it will now have an upgrade path to utilize the advanced transformer model via the NVIDIA app.

Looking Ahead: The Last Caretaker Launch

Furthermore, on November 6, Finnish developer Channel37 will release The Last Caretaker in early access. This first-person survival crafting game places players in the role of a machine designed to secure humanity’s future in a post-apocalyptic world submerged in water. Players will traverse a perilous oceanic environment to retrieve vital technology aimed at saving humankind. The game will leverage the comprehensive NVIDIA DLSS 4 suite, including Super Resolution, Frame Generation, and Multi Frame Generation for an optimized gameplay experience.
