Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk also champions the use of humanoid robots, envisioning their integration in automotive manufacturing processes. According to the report, Foxconn’s use of humanoid robots will mark a significant milestone as it seeks to break new ground in server production for NVIDIA’s innovative Blackwell AI servers.
Strategic Moves Amid Increasing Domestic Production Pressure
The partnership reflects broader industry trends influenced by the current political climate, including the Trump administration’s push for domestic production. This initiative has prompted companies like NVIDIA and Foxconn to ramp up manufacturing efforts within the United States. Foxconn is reportedly committing $450 million to upgrade its Houston plant, a significant investment following its acquisition of the site earlier this year.

Recently, NVIDIA announced a partnership with HEXAGON, equipping the measurement technology firm with its powerful DGX, AGX, and Omniverse platforms to assist in the development of the AEON humanoid robot. AEON is versatile, suitable for diverse applications such as heavy lifting, defect measurement, and various industrial processes.
The Role of AI Servers and Future Market Demand
Although the specifics regarding which robots will be deployed remain unclear, these robots are expected to manufacture NVIDIA’s GB300 Blackwell servers tailored for artificial intelligence applications.
