NVIDIA has recently introduced its state-of-the-art “AI supercomputer,”aptly named “Project DIGITS.”This groundbreaking device is celebrated for being the most compact supercomputer ever created, capable of delivering computational performance that was once thought to be unattainable.

This advanced chip integrates the Blackwell GPU, delivers one petaFLOPS of FP4 AI compute power, and features an ARM-based Grace CPU with a robust 20-core setup. Notably, this marks the first collaborative effort between NVIDIA and MediaTek on a System on Chip (SoC) beyond the automotive sector, highlighting MediaTek’s specialized contributions.

Remarkably, this system can support large-scale language models with up to 200 billion parameters, and when connecting two units via NVIDIA’s ConnectX networking, it can handle models of up to 405 billion parameters.
