NVIDIA Introduces New RTX PRO ‘Blackwell’ Workstation GPUs: RTX PRO 4000 SFF and RTX PRO 2000 at SIGGRAPH 2025

NVIDIA has made significant strides in the professional GPU market by expanding its well-known RTX PRO Blackwell series, now including SFF-compatible models aimed at enhancing accessibility for various users.

With a keen focus on creating a comprehensive ecosystem for workstation GPUs, NVIDIA has observed a substantial increase in the adoption of its RTX PRO lineup, particularly within AI applications, notably in inference tasks. To cater to this growing demand, NVIDIA introduced the new RTX PRO 4000 SFF and RTX PRO 2000 models during SIGGRAPH 2025. These new additions promise exceptional performance while maintaining a compact form factor.

The RTX PRO 4000 SFF serves as a replacement for the previous generation’s RTX A4000 SFF model. It boasts impressive enhancements, including up to 2.5 times higher AI performance, 1.7 times greater ray tracing capabilities, and 1.5 times more bandwidth—all while maintaining equivalent power consumption levels. This robust GPU is equipped with 24 GB of GDDR7 memory with ECC and features four mini DP 2.1 ports, complying with SFF certification for compatibility with smaller workstations.

NVIDIA has also introduced the RTX PRO 2000 model, designed to be a more compact yet powerful option. It is equipped with 16 GB of GDDR7 memory with ECC and has a thermal design power (TDP) of 70W, along with four mini DP 2.1 ports. According to NVIDIA, the RTX PRO 2000 outperforms its predecessor with a 1.6 times increase in 3D modeling speed, 1.4 times faster performance in computer-aided design (CAD), and 1.6 times quicker rendering speeds. This positions it as the mainstay offering from NVIDIA, providing direct competition to the recently announced Radeon PRO W7400.

As of now, NVIDIA has not disclosed the pricing information for these new models, but they are anticipated to be available through leading system integrators such as Dell.
