Inno3D Set to Release NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 iChill X3 with 32 GB GDDR7 Memory
Recent insights from an exclusive leak reported by Videocardz reveal the inaugural custom AIB variant of the highly anticipated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card. Serving as the successor to the GeForce RTX 4090, this flagship model is poised to be one of the first releases from NVIDIA’s new Blackwell architecture. While there is no official confirmation of a retail launch this month, tech enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating its unveiling at CES.
The upcoming launch may also include the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 and possibly the RTX 5070 Ti. The newly leaked product is identified as the Inno3D GeForce RTX 5090 iChill X3, which advances from the Inno3D GeForce RTX 4090 iChill X3. Noteworthy design alterations are visible in the cooler shroud, and while it retains the triple-fan configuration along with RGB lighting, the aesthetic diverges significantly from its predecessor.
According to information gleaned from the GPU packaging, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 features a stunning 32 GB of GDDR7 VRAM—making it the first gaming GPU in history to offer such an extensive memory configuration. Coupled with a 512-bit memory bus, this allows for a staggering memory bandwidth of up to 1792 GB/s. In addition to its remarkable memory capacity, the packaging reveals the card’s considerable size, categorized as 3.5-slot. This aligns with expectations for flagship NVIDIA GPUs, which tend to have a heftier build; the RTX 5090 promises significant advancements over the RTX 4090.
As for the Founders Edition, its exact thickness remains uncertain, though it is anticipated to be at least 3-slots wide. The power connector specifics for the RTX 5090 iChill X3 are still under wraps; however, it is widely speculated to include a single 12-pin 12V-2×6 connector capable of supplying up to 600W. Reports suggest that the total board power (TBP) for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 could reach 575W, with AIB versions potentially exceeding this figure.
With the unveiling of one of the custom variants now public, it is expected that NVIDIA will officially showcase the RTX 5090 during CES. Nevertheless, there are currently no updates indicating that the flagship card will launch at retail on January 21, alongside the anticipated RTX 5080.
