The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti has been met with high demand in the UK market, leading to significant stock shortages at major retailers, notably Overclockers UK. This situation underscores ongoing supply chain constraints affecting the availability of high-performance GPUs.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti: Rapid Sell-Out and Estimated Restock Timeline
Overclockers UK, a leading retailer for PC components, has reported that the recently launched GeForce RTX 5070 Ti was completely sold out on the very first day of its release. This outcome was anticipated due to prior indications pointing to limited inventory levels.
Prior to its official launch, Overclockers UK offered ‘restricted’ pre-orders, allowing customers to secure their graphics cards in advance. However, despite these measures, all units of the RTX 5070 Ti were quickly depleted, and the retailer has not provided a specific restocking date, although they have projected a wait time of two to six weeks for the next shipment.
Stock Update: RTX 5070 Ti sold out and pre-orders open. RTX 5080 sold out but limited stock arriving weekly. RTX 5090 sold out and pre-orders ceased.
Stock ETAs are as follows: RTX 5070 Ti ETA: 2-6 Weeks. RTX 5080 ETA: 1-3 Weeks. RTX 5090 ETA: 2-14 Weeks.

The anticipated restock timeline for the RTX 5070 Ti indicates a potential wait of up to six weeks. While Overclockers UK represents a specific case, similar supply challenges are expected across other regions and retailers worldwide. Furthermore, both the RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 are experiencing significant scarcity and inflated prices at most vendors.
Launched with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $749, the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti has been frequently found at elevated prices exceeding $1000 at various outlets, complicating the search for consumers looking to purchase at or near MSRP. This issue primarily stems from persistent supply shortages.

According to Overclockers UK, the RTX 5080 is expected to be available within one to three weeks. However, the RTX 5090 remains critically in short supply, with restock estimates ranging from two weeks to a staggering fourteen weeks. While pre-orders are still being accepted for the RTX 5070 Ti based on availability, many may need to join waitlists to receive updates on incoming stock.
Moreover, Overclockers UK has paused all pre-orders for the RTX 5090, indicating the severity of its scarcity. If current trends continue, it may be well into the latter half of 2025 before we see a substantial improvement in stock levels for these high-demand GPUs. Compounding these issues, NVIDIA is reportedly encountering performance challenges with the RTX 5070 and RTX 5060, which may lead to delays of up to four weeks for these models as well.
