The user recounted their ordeal, explaining that while using Adobe design applications, the system suddenly powered down. To avoid further damage, they responded swiftly by disconnecting all cables and removing components, an appropriate course of action in such emergencies. Upon further reflection and investigation, they revealed that a refurbished motherboard had been installed a few months prior, which may have contributed to the PCIe slot igniting.
