Nvidia Revamps GeForce NOW Streaming Service: Introducing the Performance Tier
Nvidia has announced an overhaul of one of the three subscription tiers of its GeForce NOW streaming service. The previously known Priority tier has been rebranded as the Performance tier, which continues to be priced at $10 per month. However, this update comes with enhanced features, including an upgraded streaming resolution.
Enhanced Streaming Experience at No Extra Cost
According to Nvidia’s latest blog post, the Performance membership retains all the valuable benefits of the previous tier while significantly improving the streaming experience. Notably, users will enjoy an increased streaming resolution from 1080p to 1440p at no additional cost.
New Features for Improved Gaming
In addition to the higher resolution, Nvidia has introduced support for ultra-wide resolutions for users with compatible displays. The Performance tier also maintains several other features, including up to 60 frames per second (FPS) gameplay, reduced queue times, ray tracing support, and extended six-hour gaming sessions.
Special Promotions for New Users
To encourage new users to explore the updated streaming options, Nvidia is currently offering a special promotion on its Day Pass program. The pricing is reduced to $2.99 for the Performance tier and $5.99 for the Ultimate tier, each providing 24 hours of gameplay access.
