Tomorrow marks a notable enhancement for Embark’s free-to-play shooter, The Finals, with the introduction of NVIDIA’s DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation. This update coincides with the launch of Season 6, which brings Team Deathmatch as a permanent option in Quickplay. Players utilizing the latest GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards will experience significantly improved frame rates, particularly when RTXGI is enabled.
Similarly, Enotria: The Last Song, a Soulslike game steeped in Italian folklore, is also set to benefit from this update. Previously equipped with DLSS Super Resolution and Frame Generation, the new patch elevates the gaming experience by unlocking even greater frame rates for RTX 50 users.
What’s New with The Last of Us Part II Remastered
In related news, The Last of Us Part II Remastered made its debut on PC last week. Although NVIDIA indicated that the game would include DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation, this feature is notably absent from the final release. Our investigations revealed that the update only mentions Frame Generation, Super Resolution, and DLAA, without any reference to the anticipated Multi Frame Generation. However, it’s worth noting that the NVIDIA application now supports transitioning from the older CNN model of Super Resolution to the contemporary transformer model.

This Friday, gamers can look forward to Wild Assault, a third-person class-based PvP multiplayer shooter, which will also incorporate NVIDIA DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation from day one. Developed by Combat Cat, the game allows players to choose from various anthropomorphic heroes, each possessing unique abilities inspired by their real-world animal counterparts.
Performance Expectations with DLSS 4
NVIDIA has reported impressive performance statistics for games utilizing DLSS 4 technologies. With activation of DLSS Super Resolution, Frame Generation, and Multi Frame Generation on GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, average performance can reportedly improve by up to five times. Moreover, the flagship RTX 5090 GPU can achieve an astounding 415 frames per second at 4K resolution with all settings maxed out in Performance Mode.
