NVIDIA Shines with New DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation Support
NVIDIA recently unveiled the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060 GPUs, bringing exciting new capabilities to gamers. Among these advancements, the company announced an expansion in support for DLSS 4 Multi-Frame generation, enhancing performance across a variety of titles.
New Titles Join the DLSS 4 Bandwagon
The latest games to incorporate this cutting-edge technology include:
- Black Myth: Wukong by Game Science
- SQUAD by Offworld Industries
- EXFIL by Misultin Studios and MicroProse Software
- No More Room In Hell 2 by Torn Banner Studios
These titles are now in good company with acclaimed games such as Control, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, and The First Berserker: Khazan, which have all adopted DLSS 4 Multi-Frame generation, showcasing NVIDIA’s commitment to enhancing the gaming experience.
A Major Performance Leap
According to a recent NVIDIA blog post, players can anticipate substantial performance enhancements, particularly in Black Myth: Wukong. Gamers pushing resolutions to 4K and maximizing graphical settings can expect their performance to spike significantly—up to 10 times greater with the help of DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation and DLSS Super Resolution.
NVIDIA elaborates: “At 4K, with full ray tracing enabled and every other setting maxed out, DLSS Multi Frame Generation and DLSS Super Resolution multiply frame rates by an average of 10X. This substantial increase allows GeForce RTX 5070 gamers to achieve over 110 FPS, RTX 5070 Ti users to reach over 130 FPS, RTX 5080 owners to exceed 150 FPS, and RTX 5090 users to surpass 240 FPS, taking full advantage of the newest 4K OLED G-SYNC compatible DisplayPort 2.1 displays.”
It’s important to note that the performance boost you experience may vary based on your system’s hardware. Nevertheless, these advancements represent a significant enhancement for many players who often struggle to run demanding games smoothly.
A Game-Changer for Black Myth: Wukong
As one of the standout titles of 2024, Black Myth: Wukong has already garnered numerous accolades, including game of the year honors from both the Steam Awards and Golden Joysticks. Its stunning visuals are tailored for high-end hardware, and with the integration of DLSS 4 Multi-Frame generation, a broader audience can now savor its breathtaking graphics without sacrificing frame rates.
This progress highlights not only NVIDIA’s technological innovations but also the evolving landscape of gaming where performance and visual fidelity are increasingly paramount.
