NVIDIA DLSS 4 Now Available in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

Today marks an exciting milestone as NVIDIA introduces DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation support in the latest update for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. This upgrade, initially announced earlier, features a state-of-the-art transformer-based AI model which significantly enhances image quality, surpassing the older CNN-based version. Gamers utilizing the new GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards will benefit from Multi Frame Generation, enabling them to achieve considerably higher frame rates. Even those equipped with GeForce RTX 40 GPUs will experience the advantages of this updated Frame Generation model, which not only boosts frame rates but also reduces video RAM consumption.

Visual Enhancements and New Features

In addition to the DLSS improvements, MachineGames has elevated the visual fidelity of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle by integrating fully ray-traced shadows. Players who possess an RTX GPU and activate ray tracing can also take advantage of DLSS Ray Reconstruction. This feature merges multiple denoising techniques into NVIDIA’s unified AI model, resulting in enhanced surface details, more precise shadow rendering, improved lighting, and more accurate reflections.

Additionally, the update includes native DLAA support, particularly beneficial for those with ample GPU headroom, likely the owners of the GeForce RTX 5090. Although excitement built around the anticipated RTX Hair feature, it appears that it was not included in this release.

Upcoming DLSS 4 Integration in Other Titles

Taking a broader view, DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation is soon to be available in Delta Force: Black Hawk Down, released tomorrow by Team Jade. NVIDIA claims that owners of the GeForce RTX 5090 can achieve an impressive average frame rate of 265.9 frames per second when using DLSS Super Resolution in Performance mode (CNN model). For those eager to learn more, Kai’s hands-on preview of this mode provides insightful details.

Additional Releases Featuring DLSS Technology

As mentioned in an earlier report, the innovative DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation is set to launch tomorrow in NetEase’s Marvel Rivals through the latest patch. Today’s releases also include Lost Records: Bloom & Rage Part 1 from Don’t Nod, which supports DLSS Super Resolution, Frame Generation, and DLAA, as well as Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, integrating similar NVIDIA technologies. Furthermore, South Korea’s MMORPG, Legend of Ymir, powered by Unreal Engine 5 and inspired by Norse mythology, is now live and supports DLSS Super Resolution and Frame Generation.

New Game Ready Driver Release

As part of today’s announcements, NVIDIA has launched a new Game Ready driver (version 572.47) tailored to complement the official release of the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card. This driver optimizes performance for the Marvel Rivals DLSS 4 update and addresses driver stability concerns during monitor wake-up after extended periods of inactivity.
