NVIDIA DGX Spark AI Mini-Supercomputer Custom Models Set for Retail Availability by October; Volume Production Starts in Q4

NVIDIA is preparing to launch its DGX Spark ‘mini-supercomputer’ models through AIB partners next month, following the positive reception of the Founders Edition. This innovative device marks a significant step for the company in supplying powerful AI computing solutions tailored for professional applications.

For readers unfamiliar with NVIDIA’s latest offerings, the DGX Spark serves as a pioneering product under the ‘AI PC’ concept. This device, designed specifically for professional use, showcases NVIDIA’s initial efforts in creating compact yet powerful computing solutions. According to a report by Ctee, customized models of the DGX Spark are poised to be available in October, although there had been some uncertainties regarding the device’s retail presence.

We have previously explored the various AIB models of the DGX Spark, which will include products from notable manufacturers such as Acer, ASUS, Gigabyte, and MSI. Exclusive previews of some of these WeUs were shared during our visit to Computex 2025. When it comes to specifications, the DGX Spark features the GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, which utilizes NVIDIA’s powerful Blackwell GPU. This chip integrates fifth-generation Tensor Cores and supports FP4, achieving an astounding performance of up to 1, 000 trillion operations per second for AI computations.

Interestingly, Taiwanese AIB manufacturers are projected to contribute significantly, potentially accounting for 70% of the DGX Spark’s production. This indicates a likely boost in consumer adoption, as these brands will enhance the model’s retail exposure. Moreover, the GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip may provide insights into NVIDIA’s upcoming AI PC chips, which are anticipated to combine x86 architecture with NVIDIA’s RTX GPU chiplets, thanks to a collaboration with Intel.

As for the wider availability of DGX Spark systems, the timeframe appears to be set between the fourth quarter of 2025 and the first quarter of 2026. It is at this point that both AIB and Founders Edition models are expected to hit the shelves of major retail partners.
