Twelve minutes of new gameplay from the upcoming Fall of Babylon has been made available online. The game looks better and better, but some players continue to criticize it.
We recently saw this game at E3 this year. Since then, it has improved the settings and gameplay. The final twelve-minute story features some spectacular action scenes and exploration of some pretty charming locations. Although the lamp looks noticeably better, it has retained its unusual style.
Production is whipping for being a gaming service. It was originally supposed to be a single-player game, but the publisher changed his mind and decided to constantly develop production. Examples of games like Marvel’s Avengers and Outriders (which Square Enix also produced) show that this isn’t always a viable path.
The case is so sad that Platinum Games is in charge of the game. The studio was known for its strong solo adventures like Bayonetta, NieR: Automata and Metal Gear Rising: Revengence, and now it has to deal with not quite what the band’s fans have come to expect.
Babylon’s Fall will be released on PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. We don’t yet know the release date for this game.
