Nong-O, a renowned sports icon and former bantamweight Muay Thai champion, is scheduled to battle up-and-coming Thai fighter Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai at ONE Friday Fights 58 on April 5th.

Nong-O is widely recognized as one of the greatest Muay Thai fighters of this era. He holds the record for most wins as a world champion in ONE history, successfully defending his title seven consecutive times. In his first five years with the promotion, he maintained an undefeated record.

Widely regarded as a traditional “old school fighter”, the 37-year-old legend is renowned for his exceptional technical skill, earning him the title of one of the greatest “Muay Femur”(strategist) fighters of all time. Non-O reaffirms his dedication to mastering fundamental techniques and classic strategies in an interview with Sportsmanor on YouTube.

I think it’s best to combine [old school and new-gen tactics]. Because training with traditional Muay Thai fighters, you get benefits like the classic techniques. You will learn the traditional ways to do the striking because it will draw out all your weapons. That would be the benefit.
