Noctua NH-D15 G2 Release Delayed to Q3 2025, Multiple Product Launches Postponed

Noctua, renowned for its high-quality cooling solutions, has announced significant delays affecting the release of several key products, including popular CPU coolers and fans. Notable among these is the NH-D15 G2, which has been postponed by several months.

Delays in Noctua’s Product Launches: A Closer Look

Noctua is well-known for its commitment to innovation and quality, frequently updating its product lineup to meet the evolving demands of PC enthusiasts and ensure compatibility with the latest hardware advancements. For instance, the NH-D15 cooler has undergone multiple revisions to maintain its status as one of the industry’s top choices.

Typically, Noctua shares its comprehensive product roadmap at the beginning of each year. However, this year marks a departure from that trend, with several key releases now pushed back. The much-anticipated chromax.black variant of the NH-D15 G2, initially slated for a Q2 launch, has now been rescheduled for Q3.

Further delays include the next-generation 120mm fan, which has shifted from its original Q1 timeline to Q2. The chromax.black version of the NF-A14x25(r) G2 has also faced setbacks, moving from Q1 to Q3, while the next-gen 120mm fan’s black variant is now pushed to Q4 instead of Q1.

According to recent updates, the anticipated next-gen dual tower CPU cooler now appears to be absent from the 2025 roadmap, suggesting its launch may be postponed until 2026. While the precise reasons for these delays remain somewhat unclear, Noctua has indicated that enhancements and refinements may be contributing factors. In a positive note, the restock of the Seasonic PRIME TX-1600 Noctua Edition is proceeding as initially planned.

The Seasonic PRIME TX-1600 Noctua Edition, launched in late November 2024, is a premium power supply featuring a Titanium rating and compliance with the latest ATX 3.1 standards. This makes it a go-to choice for high-performance gaming setups, perfect for powering the latest GPUs, including the RTX 5090 and 4090 series.

As for the delayed products, Noctua plans to unveil more details during Computex Taipei, which could shed light on their future releases and any additional enhancements that have been integrated into their upcoming offerings. The community eagerly awaits these announcements to navigate these changes and assess their impact on building and upgrading PCs.
