The centerpiece of this update is the Corvette-class starship, accessible to players who have reached the mid-game threshold. This innovative ship is unique, as it allows for a customizable assembly experience. Players can meticulously construct their starship piece by piece, tailoring the design with “every section of hull, every wing, and every internal corridor, ”right down to the bunk beds.

“Visit the Corvette Workshop aboard Space Stations to design the silhouette, hull, and peripherals of a Corvette-class starship, ”the developers reveal.“Pan and rotate the camera freely in a new ergonomic building mode to place and paint each individual hull plate and connector.”

Exploration and Interaction Redefined

In a significant enhancement to player interaction, the interior of these Corvette-class ships is now fully navigable while in transit. This means players can host multicrew gatherings in space, enjoying shared experiences with friends. Additionally, for the first time, players can open the doors of their ships to conduct spacewalks, allowing for thrilling transfers between vessels while donning their space suits.

Accessing the Corvette

Players looking to acquire the Corvette-class starship have the option to do so through a newly introduced Expedition, which allows for immediate access without the need to progress through the campaign. However, interested players should act swiftly, as this Expedition is temporary.
