“No, I’m not feeling this” – Roman Reigns reveals what he did not want to do after The Shield’s breakup in WWE

WWE Superstar Roman Reigns recently disclosed the one thing he had no desire to do after the disbandment of his former group, The Shield.

Reigns began his journey with World Wrestling Entertainment in 2010 and joined the main roster in 2012 as a member of The Shield, alongside Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose (now known as Jon Moxley). However, in 2014, he betrayed his team to align with Triple H and The Authority. Despite WWE’s efforts to turn him into a fan favorite after their split, Reigns was never fully embraced by the audience.

In the WWE Legends documentary about his life, Roman Reigns stated that he had no intention of disbanding The Shield. The Tribal Chief also disclosed that being a hero was never his desired role.

Reigns explained that he was limited in his choices due to his need to comply with the directives of the WWE executives in order to support himself.

“I didn’t want to break up The Shield. And I definitely didn’t want to be a good guy and that’s exactly what was happening. I was so young on the rise and it’s not like I had a nest built up. It’s not like I had a whole bunch of options that I could just say, ‘No, I’m not feeling this. This doesn’t feel good to me or I wouldn’t say this.’ It was so hard to do that. When you don’t have that backup when you don’t have that f**k you money and you can’t just stand on your heart and your family is depending on you. Your livelihood is depending on you so you have to just be a good soldier and do what you’re told.”

WWE Legends Roman Reigns and The Rock to make a highly anticipated appearance on RAW

During last week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, The Rock unexpectedly appeared and interrupted Cody Rhodes’ promo. However, before the show concluded, The Great One viciously assaulted The American Nightmare, causing him to bleed.

The Stamford-based promotion further revealed that The Final Boss and The Tribal Chief are scheduled to make an appearance on this week’s episode of the red brand. It is expected that the two will confront Rhodes and Seth Rollins.
